International M-5h-6 seat removal ?

Post by Cameleer » Wed Dec 13, 2017 10:31 am

I want to reupholster the seat on my International M-5h-6 and I'm trying to remove the back part of the seat. The bottom part slides out no problem but the back part has 2 hinges that are riveted in place. Tried tapping the hinges pins out but they aren't moving, have penetrating oil on them now and will keep trying to get them out. Is there some other easy way to get the seat out?
One of the hinges are frozen so that I can't swing the seat up very far, maybe once it's freed up I will be able to see some other way to remove it, just don't want to do much damage getting it out.
