Actually it wasn't much work at all for the old gal!
The easiest way to get this Beech UC-45J out of her hole was with the Wrecker
What a cool old truck

That is sooo good the see these 'animals' doing what they were designed to do.
You are fortunate to have the opportunity to do that.
And thank you for going to the trouble of taking and posting the pictures.
Have a nice day.
Sam.

Re: Federal C-2 at work
Hello Taigh,
What a great series of pictures with a powerful WW2 Workhorse of a truck !
It is always great seeing these trucks at work in a natural environment showcasing their
important capabilities !
Keep them Rolling !!
Beautiful planes as well, are they being restored, and is that one being carried a WW2 variant or an original post war produced plane ?
They built a lot of those great looking planes, for a long period of time !
That truck's story and the plane would make a great local TV story and newspaper article of interest !!!
Best Regards,
Ray

It's great to see the old gal working Taigh. Thanks very much for the photos.
My "new" Federal came with the inertia starter crank. I can get some photos and measurements for you if you want to get one fabricated.
