Just thought I would show a few pictures of my 45 CCKW Air Portable still at work. I was helping a friend cut a bunch of trees around one of his ponds and had a big pile that we needed to haul a half mile down the mountain to the burn pile. I told him I would bring my dump truck in the morning and use the excavator to load it and we can get this pile hauled and burned in a day. He looked at me kind of funny knowing that I had sold my L9000 Ford dump truck. So the next morning early I showed up in my CCKW dump truck. He knew I had the CCKW but had no idea it was a dump truck. I piled the trees and brush on high and heading down the mountain to the burn pile. After making 8 trips with the truck he still couldn't believe it still worked after 70 plus years. He especially couldn't believe I would use it to haul trees and brush in it. We had a great time that day, got every thing burned and I heading back to the shop with the old girl. Hope more people will get out in their trucks and drive them.
