Bolster trucks were issued with closed cabs. Never seen a photo of an open cab Bolster. It was more than likely a run of the mill 353 that was used on the Al-Can Hwy.

Do a little research and you will find that the U.S. Army CCKW Bolster Trucks did indeed use Open Cabs.

The truck looks similar to a bolster truck, but I think it is actually a homebuilt western logging pole trailer adapted to a CCKW. Check out the trailer axle hubs, they don't match the truck. Real nice implementation though, and it looks like it was a true working machine "once upon a time". Thanks for posting.

10 Bolt Axle hubs and wheels are typical of the type found on WWII era USAAF Fuel Servicing Trailers.
