Most unusual to have an ammeter fail. More likely the generator didn't come online due to loss of residual magnetism for standing so long. The remedy for that is to 'flash the field'. The TM should give the procedure for that.

hello, thanks for your messages.
For motto, i've contacted the shop that review my generator , and they said to me that my ammeter is unccorectly plug...Due to the fast that i got a new Regfulator and bcause my truck runs only on a single 12 volts battery so, that's why the ammeter failed... I'll try this solution to invert the two wires plugged on the ammeter and see what happens...
