I just purchased a M211.

I know there is limited resources for much needed information on these old trucks.

I am sure there are others who own a m135 / 211 and would like to reach out to other owners.

I created a facebook groups page.

Please join, i have lots of questions and could use the help from experienced owners.

Facebook Groups: M135 / M211 Military Truck Facebook Club

Not to original, but it should help draw other owners in!

You might try steelsoldiers.com early deuce forum, they have all the technical manuals there and their latest project is sourcing all the parts to rebuild the transmissions in these wonderful beasts. If I didn't have an aversion to facebook in general I would join your group. Good Luck with your project and don't forget we like pictures here!

Yep, the M211 is a fun old truck. Sorry, I don't do facebook and generally avoid steel Soldiers also. Heck, I don't even drop in to this part of the G that much either. Guess I should, though.
So...what kind of questions do you have, I will help as much as I can.
Still crazy after all these years.

Bob Kettler printed a good informational must have type written book on the G-749. Portrayal Press and Adirondack Dodge sold them.
