Hi,
I picked this up at an estate sale.
Does it have a military origin? What era or country of manufacture is it?
Sam.

Looks reminiscent of a Braden but not a model that I am familiar with.

It is a Braden design 10,000-15,000 lb. winch, the numbers cast in to the parts are Braden style part numbers. Eagle winch may be a close copy or license built version. Those with chain sprocket on the input shaft were usually mounted right behind the cab, like a wrecker or artillery truck.

Yes, probably a Braden copy.
As it doesn't seem to be anything special, I feel less concerned where it ends up.
Thanks for the comments.
