Re: WTB M936A2 Wrecker
I will have one for sale in a little while. Bought it from GSA basically brand new (300 approx hours)(couple thousand miles). It had two issues, one due to the fact they put incompetent people running it. First, the injecter pump was bad and I had Davis county school district diesel mechanic have it sent in for a $700 rebuild, so now the truck runs great. The second is they bent the main boom. I have all the replacement parts to fix it and when I get the time I will replace the main boom, extension, extension ram and boom rams with good used parts from my parts truck. When I am done it will be as good as new... I will even repack the rams since they tend to leak as they get old from my used replacements. I will even have the parts repainted with OEM military paint. When I am all done I will probably sell it for around $28,000. I am near SLC Utah and if I have a serious buyer, I will have it worked on immediately or it will wait its turn on the list.... FYI.The military did a rebuild of it in 2007. Here is a current picture.
