US-6 4x4

Post by clintm20 » Sun Jul 11, 2010 2:03 pm

Last week I saw a car hauler parked nearby with a US-6 4x4. I think it had been shortened from a 6x6. It had Washington plates on it. It also had a front winch. The bed was ww2 but not sure if a g506 or a shortened 6x6 bed.

Dr. Bob is this your truck?

Clint

Wow that has got to be one rare truck. I just had a feeling it might be headed to your place.

Email a pic and I can post it up for you too. It was parked about 2 miles from my place, i was coming out of the store with my coffee and looked up and saw it across the street at the other store. I about choked on a big gulp of java when i saw it. Nice looking ride.

Well here is something you don't see every day. What is the designation of this anyway? It is not in the Crismon book.

Thanks Dr. Bob!

It has been a closely guarded military secret for 67 years. Why would the Army need another 1-1/2 Ton 4X4 so late in the game. There has never been a hint of such a truck until this one surfaced.
