US-6 4x4
Last week I saw a car hauler parked nearby with a US-6 4x4. I think it had been shortened from a 6x6. It had Washington plates on it. It also had a front winch. The bed was ww2 but not sure if a g506 or a shortened 6x6 bed.

Hey Clint,
Gees nothing gets past ya! Believe it or not, it's a Studebaker 1 1/2 ton. They were produced in short number at the end of the war. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to do it on here. thanks, Dr Bob

Email a pic and I can post it up for you too. It was parked about 2 miles from my place, i was coming out of the store with my coffee and looked up and saw it across the street at the other store. I about choked on a big gulp of java when i saw it. Nice looking ride.

Well here is something you don't see every day. What is the designation of this anyway? It is not in the Crismon book.

Re: US-6 4x4
It has been a closely guarded military secret for 67 years. Why would the Army need another 1-1/2 Ton 4X4 so late in the game. There has never been a hint of such a truck until this one surfaced.
