There were Slave receptacles that could be added, and cold starting kits that were mounted in jeeps and used to boost tactical vehicles. Not sure when they first became available during WWII.
The instructions for the Evanair Heater describe installing a tarp around the bottom of the trucks.

Kinda boring, things seem to be slow, my MV's are resting in doors and snowbound. Easiest way to share and enjoy them is here on G-503.
I do fire off the CCKW periodically just as there is a lot of iron sitting there and it's old bones could use a little heat-mine too. :wink:
That Yellow Bridge plate? Compliments of Willy here on G-503 a few years back. Many Euro Return CCKW's still had their bridge plates, don't remember seeing many on fresh surplus CCKW's here in the US back in the 40's-50's. :wink:
