Chevy43, I have really admired your Panel and the patina it has. It surely takes decades to acquire such a finely aged look, doesn't it. I still have the pictures I snapped of it from '98. San Jose conv. saw Jacque Littlefield bring His Stug 3. Man that tank sure sounded great, I couldn't believe I was standing next to it.
I am happy to know that you found another set of locking hubs too. Having had the experience of both types, which do you think are the better set?
Holy Grail found for my Chevy.

Re: Holy Grail found for my Chevy.
I stripped off all the paint on my truck and repaired the rust so no more patina. It hasn't been painted yet though...
The 4 lever hubs leaked oil and were kind of a pain to flip 8 levers to use them but they stuck out a little less I think and seemed pretty strong. I'd say the Warn style are better because they are quick and look a little better too.

Wow Chevy43, she is looking good. Are you going to paint her O.D. like Tonywan Knobby? I hope so. I know I asked you about your side windows back in '98 but it has been some years. So, how did they come to be installed in your truck?
