Going 506 prices?
Thinking of selling the G506, post war motor conversion, no winch, 9x20 tires on ww2 wheels, very clean with a few minor weeps, no hitch or spare tire mount. Have a deck over 20x8.5 9.9K trailer I might conciser adding if needed....in Colorado

Re: Going 506 prices?
Thanks for your post. This is a great looking restoration.
Your question is a tough one because with larger vehicles, the amount someone will pay, sadly never matches the amount of time and money put into the restorations. I sold my '42 cargo for around $10K. It was not fully restored and still needed work, but was a good solid truck. One thing that probably bumped the price up was that I had converted it to a dump with all original (or exact replica parts) so that it looked like a factory dump truck.
Now, to attempt to answer your question, I'd guess--emphasis on guess--that this truck would fall in the $8K - $10K range.
I'm not certain if that's helpful or not, but I wanted to at least keep your discussion going.
Sincerely,
John

Mulezilla.......say it isn't so!! You're gonna sell your baby?? Wow. Well, I sold on of the Chevy's I had for $8,500 back in 2012. The bed was filled with lots of spare parts which I think made the really sweet for the buyer.
Anyway if you wind up keeping the truck, I have a spare pintle hitch that is complete that I don't need. I rescued it from a Chevy that was in a scrap yard near my home.

Re: Going 506 prices?
Hi; That is one nice truck. Also, sadly the current retail values do not equal the investment lately, except for those darn Jeeps. The trucks are really more fun, and if your buyer realizes this, then he will pay the investment value. I take my trucks to car shows and they are always a big hit. Challenge the lookers to duplicate the truck you are selling for the same money... It can't be done. Newc

Great looking truck! I have been looking for a 506 to restore with my son. Does anyone know of one out there that is not Swiss cheese?

Re: Going 506 prices?
Just remember that the majority of these trucks, even if nice appearing went into disrepair due to lack of scheduled maintenance that they received in the Army, and what you cannot see when looking at one can bite your wallet big time.

With the amount of NOS/new parts and such I would be in the 12K range..............
