F.S.N. 33070 is a very nice shade from Gillespie.

I second Gillespie 33070. It matches pretty well, but more importantly holds up much better.


My truck has both light and dark shades plus Navy grey.

During the project of painting my truck a couple of years back it took me awhile to get the colors sorted.

In the following pic you see TM 9 Ordnance Shade 8 at and above the belt line. The patch to the left below the belt line is Gillespie 34087. The patch to the right below the belt line is Gillespie 33070.

I had purchased a bunch of 34087 at an MV show for a great price, but didn't use due diligence in my selection. Eventually I was able to exchange the case of paint for the 33070, which is what I went with. I like the TM9 Shade 8 but the less expensive Gillespie won out. So far so good. Works on my "Power" wagon !

The TM Ordnance shade 8 is nice. I had not seen it before!

wow. I was starting to narrow down my choices and now Kelley brings "post war Yellow" to my attention. I will have to give it some consideration!!!

She is now in Air Force blue, so her name is "Blue"
