Jeffro, your trucks are really nice. I like all of the trucks that were assigned to the Marines in WW2. Where did you find the Ambulance, and do you have photos of the restorations of them both? I'd love to see them.

Here are a few photos from my Observers Guide. Sorry about the warped appearance of the photos, I don't want to break the spine of my old book.

Jeff,
Beautiful!! I really like the ambulance! What's the story about finding that rare beast. About 12 years ago, a guy named Bruce from Montana had one for sale, but it was already sold when I contacted him. Is that the water buffalo you got from that crazy guy in California?

Nice pictures Jeff, cool trucks for a hillbilly.
Hey Steve you can't mean me because mine is aluminum but there was a brake booster guy that had a beat up yellow one he sent me pictures a few years back when he found it. Maybe its that one? :)
Here is my alloy version.

Dave,
Ya, those brake boosters can make a guy crazy! Especially after at least 12,000 of them in the last 30 years...

I'm guessing that like the WWII Army Water Buffalo trailers, the late war USN/USMC ones turned to aluminum too. Nice trailer, Dave! Do you have the spigots too?

No Spigots it had an electric pump and battery on it and was in use still as a water trailer by a local winery. Still has original tires, USMC markings and paint though.
Were there two trailers on the flat bed trailer in the picture you sent back in the day?

Dave,
I'm guessing you're thinking of a picture I may have posted 10+ years ago with an Army 1945 Springfield Wagon Works water buffalo and my wooden 1943 Willys Ben Hur on the same trailer. I can't even find that picture in my files now. Man, your memory is good........
