Hey GTB fans, I want to call your attention to a GTB and Chevy M6 display during the Camp Plymouth event in California this April 2019. This is the new venue for the big Spring meets put on by the Military Vehicle Collectors of California at Petaluma and before that at Tower Park Resorts and venues before that. There is a post on this forum here:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=305248&p=1773723#p1773723

Please pass the word to owners of these vehicles because we want to see a record turnout for the magazine articles.

I am in New Zealand. I am acquiring parts to restore a GTB cargo truck I have obtained. I have a good chassis. The bonnet fenders, engine cover, and flooring are either good or repairable, but the deck has been replaced with a large flat deck.

The main pieces I don’t have are; windscreen, cargo deck and spare seat, and the battery box is badly rusted, so not much left to get the design from..

I am interested in Obtaining plans for the: windshield, passengers seat, cargo deck, and battery box.

That said I would prefer to purchase a windscreen (frame, brackets, rubber, glass) if there are some NOS or replicas made by anyone out there.

Hello fellas.

Last summer I brought home the tattered remains of a GTB, hood number 3124993 or 'S' (?) Not much left of the old girl but there's enough to convince me that I'd love to have a whole one.

If someone shares with me the location of the frame number I'll go after it.

Cheers,

Nope. As for the cab, the lower sheetmetal components are missing on the right side. I have a butchered frame. I have axles and springs and surprisingly good steering. Pinion removed from the front axle and plate installed. It is raining at the moment. I'll make the effort to get that frame number for you.

Hello,

Does anyone know if the GTB Garwood Winch, and the CCKW Garwood winch are the same?
Or are the 2 winches totally different ?

Thanks,
Ray

Thanks Leigh,

I appreciate the update !
I just bought a GTB rolling frame with a Garwood winch on it, but haven't picked it up yet or seen it in person.
I mainly got it for the great condition rims on it, that should fit right on my CCKW truck.
Rims are hard to find in Florida for the GMC.
Many here are well rusted and not usable anymore. If you can even find them !

Best Regards,
Ray
