I have got four running halftracks,plus 5 ton ww2 semi-truck,1943 willys jeep and other ww2 vehicles,plus a lot of parts to trade on. Wendell in Tn.

The engine is a Hercules wxlc 3 404 cid , I put new hasting ring in, did a valve job. no wear on the cylinders, The crank and bearing look great. I have ran the engine about 1 hour. The carb. is the big problem, they hard to rebuild and no rebuild kits. Next is to completely blast the whole m2 and of paint.This is my fun.vj :D

Looks like a great project. I am planning to move to McMinnville in about a year or so. Look forward to seeing your projects some day.

Oz, I hope you move over this way, I been in McMvinnville, several time, that a great town, We can piece together you a halftrack, I got frames , engine , and a lot parts. It will take a lot of work.but look at all the fun. I was in a huey crash just up the road from there.We were going to show CT. state troopers how to find POT from the sky. :D

SOunds like we have a lot to talk about. I've spent some time in Hueys and OH58s and done some "searching" for the same things as well, only from a twin turbo prop. Interesting about the 1/2 tracks. I need to get my shop set up on my lot.
