Can you tell me where I can get that or a part number for it
I bought mine at a local CARQUEST. I used Cardone #51-8030. I believe it is a Ford truck hydrovac.

Here's the parking brake assembly broken down, cleaned up and mounted.
I found out the adjuster lock nut was missing. I found out during reassembly looking in the TM.

Looks good Gary, another step down the road. Have you seen that glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel yet

It's starting to look like a halftrack again, that's a plus. We'll see what I can get done by winter

I started to take the rear troop floor apart to rebuild. I have to patch a couple places and make a new piece for the floor behind the driver. I'll see what the chain box bottoms look like after blasting.
Here's the piece that is cut up. There was an opening for the radio wiring in it that was taken out. Does anyone have a measurement for the opening?
Thanks Gary

A new panel was made locally and welded in for the driver side, directly behind the driver. This is where a SCR-506 was mounted instead of a ammo box. I got a repro rear chain cox from Steve V, it fits great. It's just placed in for now, I hope to paint this week and weld it in.

The rear chain box is installed. I removed the center section of the front one to have a local metal shop bend up a new one.

The new front chain box is installed. The shop did a great job bending it up, it fits perfect.
The dash needed a repair where the choke cable goes, it was drilled out larger. A new piece of metal is welded in and drilled out to the correct size.

. The dash was installed and wired over the winter. Now that it's painting season again I'm working on the floors.
