Radial engine ID

Post by 1 » Sat Mar 30, 2013 12:18 pm

Wasn't sure where to post this, I hope this is the right spot.

I bought this radial engine. I don't know anything about these. I don't see any id tags on it. It is mounted on a stand, with a gauge set.

It has a large cooling fan so I was thinking it might be from a tracked vehicle of some kind. I know the pics are crappy. I still need to retrieve it from the woods. Any idea what it might have originally been used it? Thanks.

Hello,
That looks like a Continental W670 radial engine. They go in M3 M3A1 and M3A3 Stuart tanks. They also fit in LVT's. Do you want to sell it? Where in Or. are you located?
Thanks,
