I hope to have the right side back from the machine shop by the end of the week. If that works out I'll give him the left side to do. I'll let you know how it turns out.

you know of course by actualy WORKING on yours you are making some of the rest of us (me) look really bad. how inconsiderate. :roll:

Excuse me for being so rude. I have some motivation to work on it, I haven't driven it in two years and it doesn't go so well in its current state. Hopefully when I'm done with the front end it'll turn like its on rails :) .

Ok guys here's what I ended up with. I pressed the new bushings in the sleeves, measured the pins(1.1236), and had the shop hone them just over that size. He didn't have a fixture to line hone them in the knuckle assembly but it looks like the sleeves center themselves in the knuckle. I mounted the knuckle assembly on the pins and then used a dial indicator to check for movement. It looks like a good fit. Let me know any other thoughts you might have.
I also talked with the guy that put new bushings in my front springs and he said the same thing that Andy stated that alignment is important on these assemblies.
