Well this thing call life sure gets in the way of my halftrack restoration. But got to pay the bills some how. Anyway a little more progress although it's removing more stuff :( After putting parts back on that's a bummer. Anyway Steve and I pulled the engine on the track and it is on the way to the rebuilder. I'm just not an engine man. Reality I just hate working on them. So heres some shots of it comming out. Glad my official photographer Steve is documenting this. :D

Well finally got all the do-dads off the frame (that's a technical term by the way) :? Got some tires on the frame and rolled it out of Steves shop. First time in a year that it has seen the sun. Hope to PSI wash next week and prep so I can get the frame painted. and really get moving. HOw do you like the low rider half track??

Well it was bath day down at the ranch. Rolled the chassis out and PSI washed. next will do some final degreasing and spray on some rust preventative. Then HOPEFULLY to the paint shop week after next. I think, I think I've reached the bottom and can start heading up hill

Well Friday was a banner day. Steve and I moved my half track frame to the paint shop. Steves friend owns a body shop right around the corner from Steves shop. So it's now painted and ready to move back to the shop. Went by to look at it Friay night and Steve and Mike already had it off the jacks and rolled out of the paint booth.  To me this marks a red letter day in my restoration. I've reached the bottom, now I'm heading back up. Parts are going back on. I'm really Jazzed. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Next big item putting the rear suspenson back together :D

Don,
The frame looks great, it's always good to make more room in the garage by putting the parts back on :) .

Hi hadn't posted in a while. Been restoring a lot of little items to go on the frame, got the boogie hubs sandblasted, had to order some new studs, clean and paint all the wire clips. All that small stuff. Plus getting through the holidays. Anyway here are some shots of the frame.

Finally got the boot on last night what a pain. Now I get to do the other side.

I had removed the pedal assembly and rebushed it had to weld up the pin and turn it down. Installed a new master cylinder, and rebuilt the hydro vac.

Thanks to Steve for being my offical photographer
