If only this was in the UK, I'd snap it up, especially with the £/$ rate as it is!

A guy in TX had an ad on Craigslist, looking for one. I forwarded your thread to him.
You owe me BIG if he buys it! :>)

I would like to Thank acmack for selling me this great Historic Vehicle. I would also like to Thank fellow "G" member J-506 in providing a "Real" Truck to pull my trailer to get this beauty to my house.

Restoration will start after the winter. I can't wait to get going on this!

Thanks guys!

Bill

Some where in a box I have a photo from 1990, were the French Army turned back over to the U.S. a bunch of M5s. The photo shows a holding lot full of them. The soldier who sent me the photo told me they were all being sent to Germany to be used as hard targets on the tank ranges.
Good luck with her.

Frank,
In 1985 there were at least 100 M3 Halftracks out of the French army sitting in the Can point at Graf.. They were also destined to be used as hard targets. In the same lot were maybe 50-75 WC 51's... same fate in the end

snif snif =(
