Does anyone have a good source for wla/wlc fenders? I located a pretty nice 42wlc but it has full civilian fenders. I would like to get an idea of what is available. Thanks
Jim

There is no problem that cannot be resolved with the proper application of high explosives.

Does your WLC still have the big twin springer front forks on it? The rockers are mount to the out side of the forks on the big twin front ends and on the 45 's they are mounted to the inside of the forks.
The original front WLC fenders have the narrow big twin braces this is correct from the factory.
So the WLA's & WLC's front fenders have the same fender skins but the braces are different from each other also these braces are made narrow for military Harleys and were made wide on the civilian Harleys .
So a brace swamp from your civilian fender on your bike to a military fender would not be correct.
The rear original fenders are super hard to find! I was lucky to find a real nice one last year.
Reproduction fenders can be purchased from David Sarafan but not for sure about the WLC'S fronts with the narrow braces.
So if you find a WLA front fender it will not fit on you bike if you have a big twin front on it.
WLC's are very hard to restore to the correct Canadian military configuration due to the fact not many were made and them exclusive parts to WLC's are not out there floating around.
