Tool-Set, Special, Indian Motorcycle, Chain Drive

Post by henry501 » Sat Nov 26, 2016 5:34 pm

All,

Thanks to the efforts of Phil Jones, long time tool collector and frequent contributor on the tools forum, attached please find the written spec. pages for the above noted tool-set from the 1942 SNL N-19. Please note that according to Phil there are no RA PD photos in the SNL to accompany these written specs. If anyone has photos of their own tools or photos from the WWII era civilian or military Indian Motorcycle manuals that would help flesh out this list please post them here.

Enjoy.

I own the following, but they are buried and won't be easy to find. All came in original Indian packaging, which I still have.

Wrench S 101374
Puller 33-T-69
Reamer 24-T-543-2 I believe this also works on 741

John,

Just saw your reply now. Very nice tools for the Indian. When you dig them out if you wouldn't mind posting photos that would be awesome.

Thank you,
Henry
