Hello all,
a list of Ford GPA drawings from the henryford facility.
The viewing quality is not great on some. See the sticky in the technical forum for tips on better viewing.
cheers
Bill.

Two nice original concept sketches 1/10 size. (Ford GPA amphibious)
The 405464 is not dated nor coded.
The 405662 is not dated but is coded SK-GPA-17.

The details (texts and dimensions) on the other large size drawings are almost not readable.

Prints are fine of GPA of the parts , the list I have Of parts at the Benson Ford center is quite a lot, they charge a fee for every print on file , the cost of each ( you would have to call them for that,

Yes, I know. They charge about 30USD per drawing. This is fair, and I fully understand why they would not publish all drawings.
If you want to make business with jeep parts, like that one in Italy who is machining the MB/GPW gearbox gears, that's just nothing to pay 30 USD for a drawing.

But I don't understand why they are publishing a few important scans that are almost unreadable.
"If it's worth being published, publish it right"

Yes you are right $30 per print, but you can do copy them at the center like I have , get the 70mm negative and use their copy machine, used about 6 sheets of paper to copy the Muffler support brackets, then have them made at a metal fabricating place ,mine came from USA, You can do that with any of the over 1500 70mm negatives of GPA PARTS on FILE (Patience is required) and it helps if you are there visiting, or live within min from the Benson Ford Research Center spentT a lot of time copying everyone of those prints I could find, and also some GP parts on the same 70mm negatives , I might add the PRICE of N.O.S GPA parts and repos is crazy, making this vehicle out of TOUCH with the average person. :D :D :D

Hi Gabriel,
Thanks for sharing your experience at the Benson FRC. That's really interesting!
used about 6 sheets of paper to copy the Muffler support brackets
That's what should be done with the GP side frame rail for example.
The scan on the THF web site has been made in two parts only.
It should have bee scanned in 6 to 10 parts at least to be readable.
But of course that means a huge work for drawings offered as a gift .
And at the end of road, that's good for those, likely like you, who have paid a lot of money to get many usable key drawings.
