Hello!!! My name is Sebastian Cassi of Argentina, 4 years ago I purchased a amphibian GMC - DUKW and want to show my progress in the restoration process...
I hope you like being like this, it takes a lot of time and money =)
As I can not upload the photos, I leave the link of the Argentina Association of Collectors of Military Vehicles (AACVM)

Re: DUKW - Argentina
I don't have my TM or my extra dash here at work, but wasn't there a plug hole for the spot light cord to get power?
I can look tonight.

Wow! Congratulations to a wonderful vehicle. I have taken rides in friends Dukw's and they are fantastic good fun.
Did the Argentinian army/navy use them?

Re: DUKW - Argentina
I looked at th dash I had in the garage, it too had what appeared to be remnants of a rotating switch. I cannot say what the Technical Manual would indicate was there without a little digging.
The manual shows a "button Plug" (a hole cover) no known switch by the TM that I can find. Can you trace the wiring?
Sorry
