Does the double pulley on a Generator/Welder set accomplish the same function (Fan and governor Vs Fan and Capstan) or is it really a different beast. I used to have one off a 60's Hobart welder (willys L134 engine) and you may ask on the welder forum above if someone has one they are parting out, just a thought.

The capstan pulley has six holes that engage the dogs that drive the winch. It's not special because it's a double pulley but it's special because of the holes. I've never seen a generator pulley with these holes........... -RG

No, it's the one with 6 small holes around the center.
