Anybody need a new project?
Death in the family puts this project in my lap, trying to sell for the mother of the deceased.
1956 CJ-5 Willys Jeep, original running gear, 4 cylinder Hurricane motor, runs, drives.
The complicated part is this Jeep comes with Brand new steel tub, tailgate, fenders and windshield frame still in unopened crate, (receipt for $6,500)
Also American Racing full wiring harness, complete brake rebuild kits, both in unopened boxes. New racing seat still in plastic.
Includes original steel hardtop and steel doors with roll up windows (used, good shape, intact glass)
The mother is asking $7,500 obo
(we need to unload this in a timely manner, Moving to Texas soon so any reasonable offers will be considered)

Thats what I thought, seems like a good deal, but no one seems to be interested in the project. Ive advertised everywhere, not a single interested party.

I'd be interested if I had the space for it.
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?

Have you tried posting it on the Early CJ5 web forum? Might have better luck there: http://www.earlycj5.com/xf_cj5/index.php
