Saw a CJ7 Renegade jeep for sale by the side of the road.
Manufacturer label says its an AMC Jeep ( Canada ) vehicle.
1979 year of manufacturer.
Perhaps it was a DoD jeep ...has a DoD sticker on windshield, info in glovebox says its a " 1979 CJ7 MP ". Would that indicate 'military police' ?? I don't know.
Automatic transmission, with a low range lever by seat.
AMC 304 engine.
Steel doors. Hard top.
Seats look like the light blue color I've seen in pictures of the 'Levi's Pkg'.
Has a factory AMC 70's era paint scheme.
I'm not a CJ guy....anyone out there with an idea of reasonable value of this one ??
Would you expect to see any badging on this vehicle if indeed it was a former military jeep ?
value of cj7 ? maybe MP or DoD jeep

A former military Jeep would most likely be semi-gloss olive green. It's probably not former military. Note the "probably"...
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?

Without photos this is a guessing game.

The one's the Army bought were a light OD gloss. Navy were Gray. DRMO had plenty of these in the 80's-90's. They are nice, but had little in common with and were not fitted with all the features of the M-38A1

Every one I ever saw, and road in while I was in the Marines, had the 6 cylinder motor in them, not the 304 V8.
