GDZ-4817-A Generator Feb 1948

Post by Michael O. » Wed Oct 22, 2014 11:33 am

I have a CJ2A generator with a date code of 2C (Feb 1948) that I've been tripping over for years. I started to disassemble it years ago but stopped since I really couldn't use it for anything. I'm hoping someone here can resurrect this. The tag is very readable and it looks like it could be a solid generator for restoration. Is $60.00 shipped in the CONUS reasonable? Item is located in Omaha, NE 68164. All mounting holes are good and pulley is good also.

CJ-2A-Early CJ-3A. They are shorter than G-503 and use the shorter CJ- bottom bracket on the block.

They are also an "A" circuit not a "B" circuit as generator. They use a VRP type regulator, not a VRY type.

I just hate to see this go to waste. Can someone use this?
