Can someone help with pricing

Post by rooney77 » Sun May 12, 2013 3:26 pm

I've got a 3A frame sanded and primed, an unknown heater (never seen one before) and a set of 3A axles. I haven't a clue what these are worth.

I've been searching that page and am still coming up empty handed for the heater. And I haven't figured out how to narrow my search to a specific section, it always searches the entire site.

That is a Chevrolet heater, the tubing for the core and the bracket on the rear of the housing are configured differently than Jeep.
It is not going to fit a CJ-2A/CJ-3A/CJ-3B the way it is made.

I figured it wasn't a CJ part. It's the most oddball piece out of a whole slew of parts I bought from a guy. Thanks.

is there a frame tag on either front frame horn?

that looks more like a 2A frame instead of a 3A frame because 3A frames did not come with top straps and interior gusseting... the C channel steel of a 3A frame is thicker, thus not requiring the gussets and straps...

No frame tag. It could be a 2a frame. I just assumed a 3a since all the other parts are 3a. Or so I was told.

The most immediately noticeable difference between a 2A and a 3A frame is that the 2A frame has the gussets for the front bumper mounting, and the 3A frame fits inside the front bumper without gussets.

Tough to price as they are heavy or awkward.Shipping would be rough. Frame looks really nice.
