Hello,
I have a CJ2A engine that was fully rebuilt and then never installed by the PO of my project jeep. Unfortunately it was bored to 0.080 which compromised the water jacket on one cyl, so it needs to be re-sleeved back to standard bore.
I have since sourced another engine and am trying to figure out what to do with this one. Does the block have re-sell value as is, or should I part it out and scrap the block? If it was a WWII block I know what the answer would be, but being a CJ block, I have no idea.
It is SN CJ-2A 198XX which I think dates it to early 1946 if that matters at all.
Cheers, Doug

If a sleeve will fix it, it's a good block. New blocks are being made, but they are more expensive than one that needs a sleeve. Try and sell it. It couldn't hurt.
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?
