Were the CJ2A, CJ3A frames painted with flat, semi-gloss or full gloss black?
Where flat is like OD with no reflection
Semi-gloss has reflections but you cant see yourself in the reflection
Gloss - use for a shaving mirror

Tom,
From what I have read the frame was Americar Black, Gloss. But the gloss in those days is about what you get out of Semi Gloss now. I don't think Willys would spend any extra money to make the frame shine.
