M416 for sale
Great trailer, just release from FEMA. All Original, very straight. New style large lights. No restored but refreshed. Dents removed , it has a fresh coat of correct OD paint. New stencils installed. I will include a spare tire.
2" ball hitch, reflectors, safety chains in place. Tows perfectly behind a jeep. I have used it to visit Maine and New Hampshire. Tows perfectly. Pictures taken on first warm day after it rained

Re: M416 for sale
I am sorry i did not include a price. I am asking $1250 on Craigslist but I will take a lower amount from a "G" member. I am located near Boston in Reading Mass. I will include my location on my signature.

Re: M416 for sale
The civilian hitch arrangement on it will take considerable work to get it back to correct. It can never be original again with the modifications that have been done to it. It is missing the casting, lunette, chains, landing leg and swivel. Depending on how much modification it may take both draw bars.
Sorry OP, just trying to be realistic here and perhaps educate. To put this trailer back to correct condition one would need to spend close to $500.00 or $600.00 or more putting more of a price of $1700.00 or $1800.00 at a minimum. Sadly M416 trailers just don’t fetch that kind of money.

Re: M416 for sale
This appears to be a very nice usable trailer. No visible rust through. Back panel appears uncut. While not totally correct as an original military piece there is an advantage with the extended drawbar. This should allow for much easier backing, and allow the driver of a vehicle larger than a military Jeep to more easily see the trailer while towing it. It appears to be a fair asking price especially when correctly restored M416 series trailers are priced much higher. Best of luck with the sale.

Re: M416 for sale
Thank you TopKick, It has been sold to a vet from New Hampshire that wants to tow it behind is new Jeep. He paid cash this morning so I did not have to deal with scammers. He paid $1150 for it and was very happy. Yes it need some work to have a new lunette eye put back but it meets his needs perfectly. Going camping with the Grand kids and hauling all of the tents, sleeping bags and the Kitchen equipment. I may have made some small profit but is is in circulation and will last another 40-50 years.
