Restoring T3

Post by Whiskey7 » Thu Jul 27, 2017 7:58 am

I am restoring a Bantam T3. I found the tub number and it's 12371C. Would anyone be able to date it for me please? I also broke the mount for the left upper shock. Does anyone know of an original or reproduction for sale?

I can help you with an identification of your trailer if you send me all the answers to the "How To Identify..." sticky at the top of this forum.

The ACM number you found is 123710, not 12371C by the way. It is a late 1944 Bantam though. Do you have the data plate?

Chuck:

Doing a closer look at that picture with the number stamped on it. The "71" looks more like a "74"...don't you think?

Yup...123740 it is....the one has a flat top and the one you pointed out has more of a slanted "4" top!
