You really want an honest answer? With all of the modifications on it it is not worth a lot. Some of the most expensive stuff is gone, the original fenders and the pintal and landing leg. Plus the gate cut out. I am not going to put a price on it but it is not much. JMHO.

The landing leg is there just can't see it, I know its not worth alot , but geeze a WWII trailer I would think there kinda hard to find , I was offerd 200 by a WWII collector then he verified that it was War vintage and said he could offer more but did not mention what "more" is,,,,,,,,,,,,, Me not a WWII collector but I thought 5-800 range would be fair

I've seen trailers in better condition sell recently in the $4-500 range. As stated earlier, it is missing most of the expensive parts and it does need a lot of work.

A farm trailer that rolls is worth the same thats why I did not sell it to the first guy, it makes no sense to lose a good farm trailer , Thanks I appreciate the replies!

A WWII trailer IS hard to find and this is the reason why, They were all cut up for old farm trailers. There are hundreds of these cut up WWII trailers out there but very few whole ones so that is the problem. Since others have offered up prices I was thinking in the 300-350 range. And that is optimistic dependent on finding the right buyer.

Its about 300 here in No. California. I have bought, restored and sold several in the last few years. The true value is in the restored or original, non-modified ones.
I would spend the $1200-1500 to fix it up as close to original as I could. That is assuming you are able to do everything yourself, including welding and paint. At that point if you decide to sell it you could get 2000-2500. You will not make anything for your time spent. Just my 2 cents worth.

That's the problem with it. It's been abused too much. "People" see them sell on eBay and think they have gold. A better answer for you and the "first guy" would be for you to trade him another small trailer. You'd be happy cause you'd have something to use on the farm and he'd be happy restoring a WWII trailer.Tower Rat wrote:Thanks fellas! I'd say $300 for this one is a stretch, if someone wanted it for a project.
Those might be original fenders modified. But either way, they aren't repairable.
