SOLD-1945 Bantam T-3

Post by Jim M » Tue Mar 21, 2017 4:32 am

I've decided to sell my unrestored 1945 Bantam T-3 trailer. It was lightly painted yellow, easily pressure washed off. My intention was to remove the fenders and finish washing, applying preservative mix of linseed oil and turpentine an installing a new MV Spares wiring harness. Obviously I never found the time!
Trailer comes with NOS intervehicular cable, MV Spares wiring harness, NOS blackout light switch and NOS

Wouldn't a clearcoat of paint be better? It would be much easier to work with if you (or whoever) ever wanted to repainted.

Clearcoats are all the rage in the preservation/patina world.

Why create work for the next owner. Let it be. Don't consider clear coat, it will make it that much harder for the next owner.
