the url provided is linked to a data search page , so you just need to select the Manufactor and press submit and data came out
Bantam is per default selected but there is a list of manufactors highway etc..., choose the one you want, submit and result come ...
you could add more criteria to make efficient your research..

that's what I meant: you FIRST have to add your own details, and THEN you can access the database...

I'm keeping the Converto's database here, and I'm trying to set a similar database for K-38's...and details are free for access to anyone interested...

there in that french site it seems that you first have to pay [with your own details], and then you'll have the list...

I don't know... I don't like it. my opinion only.

... accordingly to get acces to the data you need to put some criteria ?? No ??
you just have to fullfill or select the manufactor or additionnal criteria into the search page and the data result appear on the screen
that the same principes as G503 database, put some search criteria and you could see information ( via sort By )

keep in mind that miljeepdatabase host Thousand of data concerning T3 , from various manufactor and K38 model etc... so if you do not put criteria you get the entire database...try to find what you are searching in thousand and thousand resultdata....enjoy to push the next page button hahaha :D

Your point is about the way to get the data , but not in fact that data are available and with free acces and that we, collectors, could find informations

i think that could help... that my opinion too

ok... what I DEFINETELY HATE is to find details about ME or MY VEHICLES in a site for which I DIDN'T LEAVE ANY AUTHORIZATION.

details about my trailer have been added without letting me knowing that!!

that's AGAINST the LAW here in Italy. I don't know if in France they allow to post details of a private vehicle and a known name/nickname without the authorization of the owner.

I HAVE THE RIGHT of choosing where, when and if post deatils of my own vehicles!

I will write to the webmaster asking to remove IMMEDIATELY any reference to my own vehicles... I didn't subscribe to that site, and I don't need that

too bad somebody acted without ANY respect...

I found details of other people, who write here... and my doubt is if they are aware as well...

Hello,
I'm able to add a few info about K 38's. Here, in France, the last units from Army were auctioned in Chartres city, Feb. 1st 1983. they were 7 for sale : 1 1942 Highway S s/n 91797 and 6 1944 FWD s/n 996, 1014, 1044, 1045, 1058 and the last w/French new registration. I was very happy to buy one of them (s/n 1045) ; I also know s/n 996 which is owned by a friend. We found no markings at all, no registration painted. No tires but mine had kept WW 2 tubes on the rims ; no tooling or equipment inside. Now they are restored ! Best regards from Normandy, Ludo

There is one characteristic that all K-38 / Model S wheels seemed to have - the ability to be tied down ( lifted up? ) using holes in the wheel rim. Could be one hole, or two, or spokes with multiple holes, but they all had holes.

That said, the wheels on my K-38 were clearly ordinary steel wheels that someone had gas-axed a hole through, put in a short piece of pipe, then welded it in. I'm sure the same wheel exists with no holes in it, just doubt it came on a K-38 from the factory. It was probably a standard rim with added holes, so if you have a hole-less rim, it is just the standard trailer wheel

I think ....

That seems to be a different variety. Note fenders, bent tongue, landing leg and data plate in the center of the front panel. Interesting.

Solid enough

The basic trailer is the same, just the tow bar and the location of the plate look strange. I'd guess the tow bar started straight and was altered. The bend probably means the original front leg wouldn't work anyway.

Good to find out what the plate says.
