The web site and storage is free. I have kept my M38/M38A1/M170/M606 data bases there as well for 7 years now.

Wes,
I have a European(Swiss) made trailer to tow behind my M38A1, are you interested in those as well or they are not that important for the database?

Post a couple really GOOD close up pics in macro mode....after you wire wheel the paint off....do NOT sand or grind the paint as the stamping may be light or have been exposed to rust in the past.

Hi I have a MBT trailer that has been sitting in a shed since 1960. The person said he has the data plate and is still looking for it. He has registered it since 1956 I have the serial number 0345055 and the maker started with a G he thinks are you able to research serial numbers? Thanks Pat

To Chuck Lutz,
(fwg your mail)

Hello,

I am living in Toulouse, south west of France, I bought this ex French Army trailer 4 weeks ago which explains some evident changes, see last picture.

This trailer is a Transportation Equipment Co, rebuilt on August 4th 1955 by Japan Ordnance Command, see pict 1 & 2 (I will restore it later on)

I just removed some paint layers looking for marking (before sand blasting) then I found:
- 5 paint layers, 2 OD pre rebuilt & 3 post = 1 Sand + 2 OD
- some marking on forward and aft panels, see pict 3 (+ some from French Army, i will forward it to you if you are interested in)

I wish you a very happy new year 2013.

Sincerely,

Guy

Hi Friends

I restore a Bantam T3 trailer and need information about the year, D.O.D. and more.
I have found the ACM No. B84059.
A serial number: 308743, I do not know if this is true?

The Shock Absorber Bracket was early.

Please, can you help me?

Friendly greetings from Germany
Uli

Uli....there are TWO stickies about the G529 trailers....this is the one that Cuz has...you need to look at the one I have posted and send me the answers to ALL the questions I posted there as well as photos of the "B84059" and the "308743".

I think you may find that the ACM number "B84059" is really "B34059". I say this because you said it had the "early shock absorber bracket". By that I think you mean it was RIVETED to the frame rather than BOLTED to the frame. Photos of that would be helpful as well.

I don't know where you found the "308743" but it is not a factory applied number....maybe something post war owners applied?
