Hi Chuck,
A friend has an early Bantom in the UK no rear cross member
Chassis number 61871
Also number stamped on the drawbar 26651
Upper shock mounts bolted to the frame
Shocks secured with Nut

Sure would like to see a good set of photos of that one Geoff...
The ACM # 61871 and Serial Number fit neatly into my data base giving it an estimated DOD or 8/11/43 or 8/12/43.
However, pics of the REAR panel and the rear of the FRAME would be interesting as at this point I believe Bantam always had a rear frame crossmember and that Willys only left that feature out for a VERY short number of G529s.

Can we get some pics of that trailer?
Rear panel
Tail light brackets (welded or bolted on)
The data plate & ACM number?
