I've got an original that actually came out of an original M422. I'll post pictures later today of the stock numbers.

Austringer, would this piece be for sale or does it already have a home on your M422?

Only have 1 right now and had to buy an extra mite jack to get it. Paid 100 for both and sold the jack on ebay for 147.

Will get them posted once I dig it out. Its a Nos unit. The lug wrench is correct from my research and looking in the parts book gives a different number witch also corresponds to a few other generic 422 items. The jack is the same as the MB GPA replacement jack produced in the 1950 which would put it in the right timeframe to be used. I have not been able to find a stock number for the jack in the manuals and thiswas the same jack I seen on two original units.

Question for Jason Green

Postby Bill H. » Fri Jun 22, 2012 2:12 pm

Jason, does this lug wrench share the same measurement as the one in the books (15-7/8" long) From the photo it looks way short. I can tell you this, it it is too short, it will not mount under the hood in it's bracket clamps. I have one that looks to be the same length as this one pictured and it is a couple inches too short.
