Maybe so

may be the same, I dunno

The flipout hidden pintle system has me baffled though.. looks like (when all my parts are assembled (somehow that is) the puppy tucks away like a dogs tail when not in use.

I am not familiar with the M-38's

Ben is correct.

The pintle for the Mighty Mite is the same as the M-38/M-38A1.

It is NOT the same as the M-151.

Difference?

The cotter pin. Mite Pintles do not use the cotter pin.

Also.....the pintle is not designed to "tuck under". The mounting is to be as lightweight as possible and that it why it is mounted that way.

pintle storage

Postby R Harris » Sun May 04, 2008 4:22 pm

The pintle is able to fold up in under for storage. At least the FM reads that way. The one on my mite works as it was made to.

Okey dokey....how bout a vid?

Postby mstrmstr » Thu May 15, 2008 8:54 pm

You can do a BIG flavor and do a Vid from your camera or phone..
Set up the URL from snapfish or photobucket or place on YouTube..

I would sit here for a long time watching it until the fit and function is burned into my aging skull.

A vid is worth Many, many posts we NEED more vids on these vintage vehicles...
