WTB M151A1C to Restore

Post by gfbeef » Fri Apr 08, 2016 10:46 am

Sold the WC62 and Ben Hur and need another project. I would like to find a restorable 151C in most any condition as long as it had most of the C parts and pieces. I know that this is a stretch but I Might as well start here. I do not need any of the 106 gun parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

I have one, 1969 m151a1c, with North Carolina title, $7000.00. Runs, drives, stops, lights work. Now this was a cut jeep, it is in really good shape, needs a solid paint job, has an old camo paint job. It has the data plates for the a1c has the rear small tailgate and bed mount, the main spare tire mount, missing the seats on fenders, and the ammo mounts in the floor. Has good tires. Someone before me has put a soft top on it, and a rear seat that pulls right out. Did a nice job on it, if you are interested send me your email and I can send pictures, located in Whitwell, TN. Can be seen there, it does have a small rust through in the battery box on one side. New update, This jeep has been painted and some parts replaced. Price is now 8500.00. Thanks Mike

Mike, it looks like my MP's are going to "never-never" land. I am very interested in your jeep and would like to see pictures. Below please find my contact information and I would like to see pictures of the C specific parts as well as general condition pictures. Thanks, Mike

The post above was his last post but he has been on as late as today so I am betting he knows you are trying to contact him. Maybe he had second thoughts about selling?

Make sure it has the travel lock post and clamp as they are very very difficult to find.

Question for you M151A1C experts.

Did the passenger seat fold down? We came across an A1 that had the tail end cut out and the passenger seat folds down - I looked at the hinge job and it appears to be factory. I've not seen one that folds this way before.

Just curious,

I think only the M718 ambulance had the fold down seat, I am in need of one for my 718, if it's for sale? :D
