Re: Radio stuff for M151's and other M-series
interested in a rt-524. Do they work? I think shipping could be a hassle because of their weight. It would be going to 78940 zip, Texas

Re: Radio stuff for M151's and other M-series
The RT-524's were working when stored a few years ago. Always been stored in a dry garage. We used them for trail rides in the olden days.
I can put them into the M151A2 mount and run a basic test (turns on, lights, fan motor, squelch, volume) cannot guarantee they transmit/receive on frequency. They are NOT demilled, but may be off-frequency. Long time since they were tuned/adjusted.
The M151A2 is no longer in NJ - moved to the new place already. It will be a week or so before I can match radios & M151A2 in the new house.

Re: Radio stuff for M151's and other M-series
I had (probably still have) two or three. I will have to make a concerted search. Lots of spaces and places where canvas covers can hide.
I know I didn't get rid of any of them...
