Re: FS 1965 M151A1
Sorry to burst your bubble ragnar but the body is not original. It's an aftermarket one possibly made by Encore?

definitely not an original M151 body. how is it identified on the title, just out of curiousity?

Looks very much like an Encore. Missing the shovel and axe holders too.

Re: FS 1965 M151A1
Which begs the question of how was it titled as a 1965 M-151A1 ? What did DMV match on the vehicle to the title?

With a data plate. Or the title and data plate came from another M-151.

Re: FS 1965 M151A1
In some states the engine number is used for the registration number on antique vehicles. I suppose that would be difficult on a buckboard.

Check out that bend in the shifter. No windshield wipers or motor. I'm liking my Encore a lot more right now, LOL... An Encore would have come with a title as a Kit car.

Re: FS Reproduction M151A1 ENCORE Body
ahhh..... NO. Got too many of 151 variants now. I was just saying, in response to the other comments above, that if it was an Encore, it would have originally been titled in the 90s as a 'kit car", in Florida, where it was made. I'm not sure how it could be titled as a "1965 M151A1 Reproduction".
I like mine. It's bright red, so there is no effort to make it look like a military or military wannabe vehicle. There are too many differences to confuse it, but it is a great vehicle for where I live (south Florida).
