Traded John Deere Gator 6X4

Postby Duke113P » Sat Dec 25, 2010 3:12 pm

ALREADY GOT IT TRADED now. Thanks guys!

My Gator runs has been serviced regularly, I have pictures and I have installed military LED brake / service lights on the rear.(did not drill any holes to mount these, used existing holes from the tailgate. If your are interested please email me directly, we can exchange phone numbers and talk and exchange pictures. My Gator runs drives starts and is mechanically sound and phsically sound. There were some cracks in the fenders but they are all fixed with plastic welding. All tires have 90% tread or more, unleaded gas runner. Tilt bed, fronts seats will need to be replaced as the cushions have torn. OR I will get new ones installed for you. This would be a great gator to mock up as a military M gator. (I know the Mgator is diesel just to cover the snipers out there ) Or a great piece to have around the land to go to and from with. Great get around the place vehicle and work horse. Gets in places where my 44 MB just cannot. THANKS for your consideration.. oh yeah... your M151A1 or A2 should run and drive at the very least. I have no problem trading for a restoration (no rust buckets please) vehicle. Let work something out. I will do all the driving to boot, preferred something in the Central US. I know, asking alot here. But I will deliver the Gator to you and pick up the M151A1 or A2 in the trade. Thanks in advance!

You guys laugh, come spring I am going to start working on it to see just how close I can get it. The frame rails are bent down right behind the rear suspension but they bent in a way that can be easily repaired. This would not be a for sale vehicle but something to use around the house. Might even cut out a large section from the middle to shorten it down for tighter turning. I have thought about four wheel steering but haven't sat down to work out the geometry yet.

Careful there Matt! I have two choices with this thing, scrap it or play with it. Think Shriner version of the 151!

I guarantee it will NOT go 140 MPH!!! (inside joke the old timers here will understand.)

hi rick--put down the crown royal--you can't do a shriner version with that 151--there's no windshield, so your hat will blow off.

Sorry Duke, It seems I totally hijacked your thread here. Lets get back to the original request guys, it is a legitimate request for a trade.

Still looking for one, even if you have a project one. I am very interested in getting an M151A1 or A2. A little rust is fine. I will deliver the Gator to you and pick up the MUTT. Thanks,
