Ken Lewis, that name rings a bell. Is he the guy who is located on the south coast of England. If so he has some fantastic gear. :?:

Its coming back to me now. He owned one of those Ruperts. These were fake parachutists, that exploded on landing. An extremely rare piece of world war 2 memorabillia.

Ken has asked me to pass on the following,

" Thanks for your concerns for my health, which is fine to-date and currently enjoying. I retired from selling militaria and film supply business several years ago and moved to Normandy France, as friends observe I'm living the dream driving my GPW around the French countryside in Normandy and attending events and commemorations. I decided to clean house and sell most of the collection as I don't have the space to display it or use it, and with only one daughter Lauren, who is genuinely interested in the vehicles and the subject but not necessarily the responsibility of owning it I felt I wouldn't eventually leave her with that responsibility. Maybe I will convert the clothing collection into another military vehicle acquisition, regards and I hope everyone enjoys the hobby as much as I have over the years. "

Hi,Nice to hear Ken is ok and living a nice life.I use to live by him when he lived in Bearwood. I used to buy from him and he would come to me house bringing what I bought.I lived on the Abbetfields, Halesowen.
