Another jeep top question.

Post by Mark Jesic » Tue Dec 19, 2017 12:53 pm

I know we have just had a lively debate in jeep tops, but here is another poser. Looking at my jeep top, which is rarely put up, on my back window there is a strip of canvas which looks like a plus sign. Was this used on WW2 tops ? or is it a post war addition ?

Genuine MA Top, WO-A-2539, would not have the 3 hold down flaps for a Front Bow. There was no Front Bow on the MA. Slat Grill Top would be A-2909.

No idea, but the type buckle on the straps may be of interest. They are not usual seen on WWII Issue MB/GPW tops.
