O.K. Guys, it will happen one day and we wont be here anymore. Your jeep is left in the garage, so what will become of it ? Have you left it to someone in a will, or promised it to someone ? I hope im around tor a few good years yet, BUT at the moment im at a loss who should have it or put it in a museum, i just dont know. Im due to write a will soon ,so i would welcome any ideas. Unfortunately my kids dont share my passion for jeeps. :?:
OK. Going forward if anyone want to assign me as beneficiary to receive their pride and joy jeep, I will be happy to help in drawing up the necessary legal paper work....Just saying. Oh, and I will make sure and pass them on to someone that truly appreciates our hobby. :D :D

My daughter wants it, knows how to drive it, and knows the history to go with it. She isn't married yet, so I've told her that means there's an additional criteria for prospective suitors - must be Jeep savvy.

If you daughter already knows the history of your jeep AND can also drive it, I have a feeling she won't have any problem finding a guy who is jeep savvy

The story, dad bought two jeeps in the mid 50s and made one, a 1949 cj3a. I never remember it being driven on the road, it was always a work horse and hauled, towed anything it could move. It quit starting around 2001( my family had moved away) Dad parked it and said he would never sell it. People would stop by and ask if it was for sale and he would answer, no its always been a part of the family, even before he had a family!

So in 2015 my daughter asks Grandpa if she can buy the jeep? His answer,, I will think about it? I got a little ticked off, why would he not offer to sell it to me first? So now the jeep, Nelly as he would call it, is sitting in my pole barn, up and running. It is a father, daughter only project. so work goes slow, but it is already hers, I just get to own it first for a few years. jp4ever

Does anyone want to swap daughters, good luck if you have mine. Extremely high maintenance, the jeep is far easier and cheaper to maintain, mind you daughter is ONLY 32 years old.
