WW2 jeep guide book.

Post by Mark Jesic » Sat Sep 30, 2017 5:30 am

Hi Guys, i may have gambled here, but i have just ordered Rene Berniers WW2 jeep guide book. I usually glance through a book before purchase, but this looked tempting. Is it as good as it says, i know Ron stocks it ,as do a couple more Amarican jeep guys , so i ordered it on that reputation. Your opinions please. :)

Its a great book, although more geared towards the less knowledgeable/people shopping for their first jeep. I think it's a great book to have to know what you're getting into before buying a jeep. If you already own other books on the subjects and/or jeeps, it may not be the most useful book on your shelf but I'm one of those that believe you cannot have too many books !

It is a great book with lots of information on restoration, buying, using and owning your jeep. His appendixes on cost and journal are unique and give you a feel of what you are getting yourself into.

Mine is from May 2005.

He got me hooked on diet Moxie... that stuff is hard to get!

No, Dave, it is soda.

Kind of like bitter Dr. Pepper but associated with the State of Maine here in the USA. Ren is from Maine.

I'm not sure when he started bringing it to events, but I told him I could not drink sugar soda and he brought me the diet version. :D

Surely it must taste better than diet coke Mark. Give me normal coke please, in a can, not a bottle so we dont have the bottle opener debate again. It really is a good book, and i have learned some important information from it.Oh and you get a mention, there are people over here who would love your knowledge on jeeps Mark.

Mark,
Oh my god, 2 Marks
Thanks for the info on Moxie, love some of the names, Moxie Energy Explosion, Moxie Energy Thunder. Mark I agree Diet Coke  I'm one for Root Beer by A&W, we can get it, but it's quite expensive.
