Mikes Military Motors - No More... :^(

Post by DavidA » Sun May 07, 2017 10:06 am

Well it is official, Mike has retired. He may on occasion show up at local meets and such with a few goodies but the shop is empty and the 45+year collection is now in someone else's hands.

Mikes place was one of the early venues where you could buy yourself a Jeep and then get the parts to fix it up again. All in the bastion of liberal San Francisco and later in northern california (Santa Rosa). Mike has always been a great asset to the MVCC and we who built Jeeps in the SF bay area.

Thanks Mike and have fun in your retirement.

Most went to Washington State, some of the left overs were sold by that gentleman to Jay here on g503 (chasendeer).

We built the last late war GPW in about six or seven weeks...Mike and Terry during the week and the rest of us helping on the weekends....
